Entrepreneur Henrik has set up a new entity with the aim of launching a 100% electric model, the Ocean. The Ocean SUV is available in three variants of varying performance (Fisker, Ultra and Extreme). The range offered exceeds 630 km in the best case.
The Fisker Ocean is 4.78m long, 1.99m wide and 1.63m high, making it an SUV comparable in size to a Mercedes-Benz EQC. This new zero-emission vehicle, designed in California, comes in an entry-level version that transmits its power to the front wheels, develops 275hp and has a battery with a claimed range of more than 440km.
The Ultra version of the Ocean is much more powerful, with two engines producing a total of 540 hp transmitted to all four wheels. This 4×4 variant is equipped with a battery called “Hyper Range”, which gives it a range of up to 610 km.
At the top of the range is the Ocean Extreme with 550 hp to all four wheels and a battery with an estimated range of over 630 km.
The two top-of-the-range versions can be fitted with an optional SolarSky solar panel roof that provides up to 2,413 km of free range per year (3,218 km assuming constant sunlight).Performance-wise, the Fisker Ocean in front-wheel drive takes 7.4 seconds to reach 100 km/h, while the same exercise requires 4.2 seconds for the Ultra version and only 3.9 seconds for the top-of-the-range Extreme.
