Elon Musk is once again in the spotlight. Since Twitter was bought out, the creator of Tesla has stirred up hatred among Internet users. Now, car manufacturers are also calling for a boycott of Tesla.

Twitter has changed drastically since Elon Musk took over. Tesla’s direct competitors not only want to boycott the car manufacturer, but also the entire social network.

Little by little, brands have decreased or completely stopped their Twitter ads. General Motors, for example, withdrew its entire investment the day after the takeover of Elon Musk. Stellantis did the same, insisting that they were waiting to “understand the platforms situation.

But in the United States, the boycott is much more widespread. Audi USA hasn’t tweeted since October 28, Chevrolet since the 27th and Cadillac since the 18th.

A big impact on Tesla

The major controversy on Twitter concerns the paid subscription for the «Blue Check». Previously, proof of a certified account, today it is the brand of premium Twitter members. Elon Musk’s goal was to make the app the most profitable, to make the most profit. He laid off a lot of employees. Hundreds more have left on their own. The company has lost 80% of its team since Elon Musk arrived.

Authentication problem and platform malfunction, Twitter is not going well and this affects Tesla.

In October 2021, a Tesla share was worth $400. In April, it was worth $380. But since the takeover of the little blue bird, the builder’s share has reached $224 in less than two months. Why ? Elon Musk sold 4 billion shares of Tesla to finance the Twitter buyout.

Today, a Tesla stock is worth $182.The brand insists that we should not worry, but it seems that Elon Musk will not be able to manage projects parallel to Tesla if he wants the brand to survive.
