As you heard, Renault has just launched its charging badge, the Mobilize Charge Pass. Mobilize is the group’s new brand, dedicated to mobility.

But why?

This offer comes after the announcement of the opening of 200 electric service stations in Europe by 2024.

Who is Ionity ?

It is a shared company, composed of BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Audi and Porsche. Their goal ? Build a network of ultra-fast, high-power electric charging stations for electric cars. Present in 25 countries, there are more than 260,000 charging points in Europe.

But is it really advantageous ?

On conventional 50-kilowatt terminals, it will cost 39 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh). On the 350 kilowatt terminals, the price will be of 69 cents per kWh. With the Mobilize Charge Pass, the kWh would cost 30 cents on Ionity super chargers. But you have to subscribe to a special option. With the Mobilize Charge Pass, three offers are available on the MyRenault app :

Mobilize Basic : 71 cents per kWh on the entire Ionity network. Free and without obligation, this option is for those who do not use the highway that much.
Mobilize Active : With a one-year commitment, the price is 7.5 euros per month. It offers a preferential rate of 0.55 cents per kilowatt.
Mobilize Intense : A one-year commitment, with a monthly subscription at 17.50 euros and the kilowatt is only 30 cents.

With the famous Mégane, a new electric car, and the Mobility Charge Pass, with a charge of 30 minutes, you can get up to 300 kilometres.
