Launched last spring, the Dacia Spring quickly became a popular success, to the point of being one of the top five best-selling electric vehicles in France for the year 2021. With 1,494 registrations, the Dacia Spring is in first place, just ahead of the Renault Zoé (1,362 units), while the Peugeot e-208 (1,183 units) completes the top three.
The absence of Tesla in this top 10 is of course noteworthy. This can be explained by the delay in delivery of American cars to dealerships at the beginning of the year, which should be corrected by the end of the first quarter. From a more global point of view, and in a car market that is down by 19%, 10,217 electric cars were registered in France in January. This represents an increase of 57.9% compared to January 2021 figures
