A few weeks after the opening of its first European store in Stockholm, Xpeng opens a second one in The Hague. Here too in a large shopping center in the city. Two other points of sale are still to be opened in the Netherlands. The development of the network is therefore continuing, with the launch in Germany expected soon. And the range is also gradually being completed. After the G3 compact SUV and the P7 large sedan, it is now the turn of the P5 to be officially offered in Europe.
At this stage, the price of the Xpeng P5 in Europe is not yet known.
The same goes for the date of the first deliveries. But some technical details are already known. A direct competitor to the Tesla Model 3, the sedan is 4.80 meters long. In Europe, it will be offered in a slightly different version than the one available in China. The European version of the Xpeng P5 will not have its two lidars and will be delivered with the 2.5 version of the XPilot semi-autonomous driving system. However, it keeps its 12.3 and 15.6 inch screens on board.
Mechanically, a single 66 kWh battery is currently offered, giving it a range of 465 km in the WLTP cycle. The engine has a power output of 155 kW/211 hp and 310 Nm of torque. In China, the Xpeng P5 is also offered with a small 55 kWh battery and a larger 71 kWh battery.
