At the beginning of 2023, Tesla launched a price war in the electric car market. Renault refused to respond to this price war in order to protect the residual value of the Megane.
However, the Megane E-Tech Electric is smaller than the Scénic E-Tech Electric, which will start at less than €40,000. It is therefore logical that the Megane E-Tech Electric should be cheaper.
The prices of the Megane E-Tech Electric are therefore expected to fall in France, but not before the publication of the rules for the 2024 ecological bonus.
