A few months ago, Alpine presented its refreshed A110. As announced in the Renaulution plan, Alpine will produce three electric vehicle models by 2026: a compact, a crossover and a replacement for the A110.

Last week, during the visit of Luca de Meo (CEO of Renault), Bruno Le Maire (Minister of Economy) and Esteban Ocon (driver of the Alpine F1 team), the manufacturer announced the production of the Alpine GT crossover by 2025.  The Alpine crossover will be based on the CMFEV platform of the RenaultNissanMitsubishi Alliance. For the moment, the brand refuses to detail the technical characteristics of the vehicle and future competitors of the electric Porsche Macan. It is possible that the Alpine GT will have two engines and a total capacity of over 400 horsepower. According to an image released by the French brand, their crossover is an SUV coupe with styling very similar to the Alpine A110 with pronounced hips and a very curvy shape.

Its arrival is scheduled for 2025, after the electric compact is nothing more than the turbocharged Renault 5 Electric and the contracted Alpine. As for the sports car, it will not be presented until 2026. It will share the platform with Lotus, the Type 135, which the British manufacturer has subtly demonstrated in a teaser.
