Indeed, as previously announced, the British manufacturer will be electric and is also preparing to launch a battery-powered SUV (Type 132) in the near future. After that, Lotus will launch a four-door coupe (Style 133) and a smaller crossover (Model 134). It will be 2026 before we see the British manufacturer’s all-electric sports car, the Type 135, but Lotus has been quick to show us that it has released a sketched version of its profile.  The Lotus sports car is based on the Evija that went on sale this year. According to the sketch, it is inspired by the Lotus Esprit with its pointed nose.

The car is based on an ESports platform and can be powered by one or two electric motors. According to Lotus, the battery can be placed vertically behind the front seats, like an engine in a petrol car with a rear hub motor, and its power will range from 66.4 to 99.6 kWh for a range of 480 km to 724 km. Ultimately, the Lotus Elise’s descendant can go from 476 hp to 884 hp
