Mercedes-Benz EQV: the electric van .

1.6k 0

The Mercedes EQV belongs to the Mercedes V-Class family, which in turn is related to a commercial vehicle, the Mercedes Vito. The Mercedes EQV is the second Mercedes-Benz electric car after the Mercedes EQC, and the first large electric minivan on the market.

From the outside, the Mercedes EQV differs slightly from the V-Class from which it is derived. It has all the appearance of an industrial van, although the lights, the huge front grille with the Mercedes star and the careful exterior finish contribute to give it that touch of luxury vehicle that it really is.

The main difference with respect to the thermal V-Class is the power socket in the front left corner of the vehicle, recessed in the defense. This position for the socket is designed for battery parking against the recharging point and to leave the doors completely free for access to the passenger compartment and especially the tailgate to give access to the trunk.

The battery of the EQV has an energy storage capacity of 90 kWh, enough to take this huge vehicle up to about 418 km of autonomy. Top speed is a generous 160 km/h, although at that speed and with the aerodynamics of a vehicle of this size and shape, the battery would not last as desired.

The interior of the Mercedes EQV is a very spacious living room that can seat up to 8 passengers. It is configured in two rows of 3 seats in addition to the frontal 2. The trunk of the car has 1000 liters of capacity.
