Cupra celebrates its 4th anniversary. The Spanish manufacturer of the Seat brand is proud to announce the upcoming arrival of two new models. As you might expect, these new models will be electric, and their identity has also been revealed.

Cupra announces that the first one will see the light of day in 2024. It is an SUV based on the Tavascan concept. The second is based on the Cupra Urban Rebel and will be available in 2025. So there is still a long way to go before we see these two cars that Cupra announces electric. The brand is rather discreet, but everything leads us to believe that these new models will be based on the MQB platform of the parent company Volkswagen, which is already used by many models.

For the moment, Cupra only offers its customers one 100% electric model: the Cupra Born (derived from the Volkswagen ID.3). Its range includes other models, but hybrid and thermal this time, including the Cupra Leon, Cupra Formentor and Cupra Ateca. The manufacturer is motivated to move forward, announcing the sale of 79,300 cars in 2021, an increase of 189% compared to 2020. This year, Cupra has new and much bigger ambitions. It would like to double its sales by reaching 160,000 units sold by the end of the year.
