Genesis, the luxury arm of the Hyundai Motor Group, has announced that the introduction of the all-electric Genesis GV60 in Europe is near. The GV60 is the third model based on the E-GMP platform, and the first all-electric model from Genesis. According to the company, there will be three main versions of the car’s powertrain, but only one 77.4 kW battery option:
A Premium version – powered by a single 168kW motor and focused on range.Sport – all-wheel drive and 160kW + 74kW motor.Sport Plus – powered by a dual 160kW + 160kW AWD motor with a unique Drift mode and a Boost mode that adds a 20kW power boost for 10 seconds + 20kW.
The range-oriented rear-wheel drive version is expected to offer a range of up to 516 km (321 miles).The GV60 will come standard with next-generation technologies that offer a unique electric car experience, such as advanced driver safety technologies, a dual 12.3-inch infotainment screen and wireless phone charging.
