Togg, the new Turkish electric car brand, is doing well on its home market. But it is taking its time to tackle Europe.

The Turkish manufacturer marketed its first model, the T10X SUV, last spring. And it is doing rather well: more than 15,000 units have already been sold. That’s not bad for a relatively expensive model on a market that is still not used to electric cars.

Next year, Togg will release a second model, an electric sedan. And the range will then expand with a smaller SUV and a utility vehicle.

But for now, Togg is not thinking about Europe. The priority is to meet the strong demand on the domestic market. There are more than 175,000 orders for the T10X.

The arrival in Europe is therefore postponed to 2025, or even 2026. And when it does happen, Togg will target the Nordic countries first, like Chinese manufacturers.

The T10X is produced in the Bursa factory in Turkey. It has a production capacity of 100,000 vehicles per year. The batteries are produced on site, in partnership with the Chinese group Farasis.

In the meantime, Togg continues to make headlines. The brand recently announced a partnership with the American group Google to integrate Android technology into its cars.

We can’t wait to see what Togg will offer us for Europe !
