Conviviality, smiles and suspense, that’s how to describe the first Watts d’Or ceremony. Hosted by Eric Dupin, editorial writer and podcaster at Automobile Propre, the event was broadcast live on the media’s YouTube channel, to the delight of their 120,000 subscribers.
Electric Car of the Year
After a few words from CEO Yoann Nussbaumer and editor-in-chief Pierre Desjardins, the winners were rewarded.
Not surprisingly, the Watt d’Or of the Electric Car of the Year : the Tesla Model Y Performance. A close duel between the Renault Mégane E-TECH and this Tesla. The public preferred the Mégane, but the jury, the Tesla. In the end, Tesla won with a combination of the two results.
The Watt d’Or of the Best Charging Network 2022 : Fastned. This ultra-fast charging network on the Dutch motorways has combined the network with innovation, placing it in front of Electra and Ionity.
And the Watt d’Or of the Best Innovation in Electromobility : Revolte Club. Their garage offers maintenance and repair of any type of electric vehicle : motorcycle, scooter, electric car and hybrid.
