At BMW, the electrification strategy involves a progressive splitting of its range. Following the example of the 4 Series, which became the i4, most models will have an electric version identified by the letter i. All the German manufacturer’s platforms are now compatible with different types of engines: petrol, diesel, hybrid, plug-in hybrid or electric. The next candidate to go electric is therefore called iX1.

BMW is preparing the renewal of the X1 SUV. The new generation, which answers the internal code U11, in addition to an illustration of its front face, underlined of blue, one discovers some data relating to its autonomy there. The fuel consumption is announced between 17.3 and 18.4 kWh/100 km. As for the range, the WLTP homologation value is between 413 and 438 km under the same conditions. Based on these values, the battery capacity can be estimated at around 75 kWh.
