Carlos Tavares, CEO of Stellantis, has confirmed the release of two new electric models from Fiat this year, including an urban SUV.
Stellantis began the year with 23 electric car models in its portfolio, and there will be 32 by the end of 2023, including two from Fiat.
Carlos Tavares announced this during the presentation of his automotive group’s financial results, without giving more details about the two models.
The Fiat urban SUV will share its foundations with the Jeep Avenger and will be produced in the same factory in Tychy, Poland.
The second model could be a versatile city car, replacing the Punto, or a rebadged Citroën Ami, which could bring back the Topolino name at Fiat.
If you want to test drive the Fiat 500e, it’s available at Movo Car Rental. This electric car rental agency offers all kinds of electric and hybrid models. The next Fiat cars will have similar technology to that of the Fiat 500e.
