Elon Musk reiterates his announcement that the next Tesla will be “almost autonomous” in a recent appearance at a Morgan Stanley conference.

This declaration has become a tradition since 2016, culminating in the promise of one million robotaxis by the end of 2020 in 2019.

However, despite the years that have passed since, Tesla’s latest autonomous driving system, the “Full Self-Driving Beta”, still does not exceed level 2 of the SAE nomenclature of the 5 levels of autonomous driving.

Nevertheless, Tesla has been charging for years €7,500 for its “fully autonomous driving capability”, while stating that current features do not make the vehicle autonomous.

If you wish to test a Tesla car, in the South of France go to Move Car Rental. It’s an electric car rental agency. With great prices and exquisite service, you can rent for both long and short periods of time.
