A Mini electric more expensive than a Tesla ? And yes, it exists !
David Brown Automotive, a British company specializing in the restoration and modernization of classic Mini, now offers an electric version of its models.
The Mini eMastered is equipped with an electric motor of 98 horsepower and 175 Nm of torque. It cuts 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and reaches a maximum speed of 148 km/h.
The 18.8 kWh battery offers a range of 177 km in WLTP cycle. The charge is limited to 11 kW, which requires 3 hours to fully recharge the battery.
The Mini eMastered is available from 144 500 euros, excluding taxes. This price is higher than that of a Tesla Model 3, which is the most sold electric car in France.
